AIP Online Surveys Review: An International Paid Survey Site?

Today’s review is about a little unknown and new panel called AIP Online Surveys. I am sure most of you haven’t heard of it. Which is exactly why I decided to give it a try to see how it stacks up against other prominent paid survey sites such as MySurvey, or even smaller sites like MyOpinionNow.

And here is my honest review of AIP research panel.

 

Company Overview

Based out of Japan, AIP Online Surveys is managed by AIP Corporation. The company is a pioneer in Asian internet marketing research while it started its operations in the year 1997.

Today, AIP has a wide presence in 6 of Asia’s most important markets, viz. China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Singapore. This has enabled people from Singapore to make more money.

I looked at Better Business Bureau’s official website to see if AIP was registered and ranked there, but it seems like the company isn’t listed there.

I will update this review if and when that changes.

How It Works

Once you are done with filling up the registration form, you’ll need to wait for an email from the site. This email contains a URL, which you need to click to proceed further.

Once all the required information is entered during the main registration, the process stands completed.

After registering with AIP, you are allotted your login details. You can use these details to log in to your account and go to the “My Page”, which shows the surveys available to you. To answer any of the given surveys, simply click on the answer button.

After a few questions meant for screening purposes, you are allowed to take the main survey. And you are rewarded for the same once you completely finish it. Usually, longer the time a survey takes to complete, more is the compensation it offers.

Once you complete a survey, all your points are automatically recorded in the “Current E-Points” tab.

How many surveys you will receive is entirely dependent on the depth of your profile. Survey invites are sent frequently to profiles that are more complete and also regularly updated.

 

Earning & Redeeming Points

AIP members earn their EPoints based on different aspects of every survey, viz. content, length of the survey, and total amount of questions.

The EPoints you accumulate can be exchanged for different rewards like cash and/or gift vouchers.

100 EPoints = 1.00 USD

There are two ways in which you can redeem your EPoints:

1. Cash via PayPal: The minimum number of EPoints required for this is 500.
2. Vouchers: Minimum number of EPoints required for this is 500.

Note that the reward you opt for while cashing out your EPoints is subject to availability at the time of redemption. If something’s not available, the site will notice you once it becomes available again and you may then proceed to redeem your EPoints for rewards.

Payments via PayPal take around 4-6 weeks.

Referral

Every member registering with AIP Online is provided a link. Upon your friends’ introduction, and once they click on the link, they are directed towards the sign-up page.

Once your friends finish this step and go on to complete their first survey with AIP, bonus EPoints are rewarded to you and your friends.

The exact amounts are 350 and 250 EPoints for you and your friend respectively. Remember, the more people you bring to the site, more are the EPoints you stand to earn.

 

My Impression

In my honest opinion, there is nothing attractive about AIP Online. Since I joined, the site has sent a number of survey offers my way. And each one of them offered only 1 EPoint.

Seeing that the minimum cash out requirement is 500 EPoints, I figured my chances of cashing out were almost nil and that is when I opted out.

I think your time would be much more valued if you go for high paying survey sites like MySurvey.

You can sign up at their website if you still want to try it out. However, I sincerely recommend that you do not!
