You can very well place Neobux among the world’s biggest PTC websites as it boasts of more than 20 million members. This is also the reason why decided to try my hand with the site and here’s my review of the same.
What is Neobux?
The site operates on the paid to click model where you are paid for clicking on advertiser links and also visiting their sites for specific periods of time. Neobux is operated by Rezk, a well-known name in internet marketing.

Advertisers purchase the clicks to their sites and members of the program earn their share of the revenue pie whenever they visit those websites. Members can also earn via a referral program, which helps them develop downlines and earn from the same.
Established by NeoDev, Lda in the year 2008, Neobux operates on the PTC model. Its domain registration is shown to last till 2022. This means that the company is pretty serious about what it’s doing and you can be confident about it being around for a long time.
This is most unlike scam sites, as Neobux actually pays members and has been around for more than 5 years now. The site currently pays its members through Payza, PayPal, and NetTeller. There are talks of adding AlertPay to this list as well, but so far its not an option.
Now, being around for such a length of time and maintaining a consistent payment record is quite an achievement for a site based on the PTC model. These facts only further affirm the trust and confidence people have on Neobux.

BBB Rating
As is my habit, I also checked with the Better Business Bureau to see how they rate NB, but at the time of writing this post, there is no review or rating of Neobux.
My Detailed Review of Neobux
On first look, Neobux.com can be quite confusing. The overall level of content is minimal, which means you have search a bit to figure your way around.
After signing-up and entering your account area for the first time, the minimal look is instantly apparent. However, it does fade away once you get used to things and learn where to find what.
The earning program offered by Neobux is quite common on the web today. Understanding how you earn money on this site is a very simple task.
2 Membership Levels
How much you earn is a function of what membership level you possess. There are two levels; the free level and the golden level.
- Free
A free member can earn $.01 for viewing a website for a set duration. The pay is $.015 to view the same for a greater duration. - Golden
For golden members, the pay for above tasks is $.01 and $.02 respectively. Golden members of Neobux also stand to make a greater amount from the clicks of their referrals than what free members get. There is also the feature to rent some referrals from Neobux every month. This could help raise your earning levels.
My Earning without Referral
I made a decision to see how much I could make without going the referrals route first.
I inculcated a daily habit of working on Neobux. Adding Neobux.com as the default homepage on my browser also helped me in maintaining this habit.
The site used to send me around 10-20 advertisements on a daily basis in the account. I viewed all the received ads.
To view a single ad, it usually takes between 10-20 seconds. Pay for the same is $0.001.
So, my total earnings were a paltry $0.01-$0.02/day, which again depends on how many ads you receive per day.
After exactly a month, the grand total of my earnings was a miniscule $0.4!
My Earning with Referral
Once I was sure that the initial earning method I adopted was useless, I decided to refer around 50 people to the site.
My wait extended to another month only to find out at the end that my earnings improved.
This time around I made $0.93. You read that right; the earnings didn’t even breach the $1 mark!
That said, having referrals made a difference. I actually wrote a post on how to get referrals for Swagbucks, that the strategies outlined in it could be applied on getting referrals for any site.
Conflicting PTC Site Reviews: Why?
A majority of PTC sites come out as scams after a while. However, there do exist many genuine PTC sites like Hits4Pay, Clixsense and NB that pay regularly, but the tricky part lies in finding these legit websites.
Additionally, many of the PTC site reviews are quite complex and contrasting in nature. These reviews are done by former members, and through a simple Google search, you can see the disparity prevalent in such reviews. While a few might heap praise on the site’s payments, some others might criticize the same. In fact, you will even come across proofs of payments from supporting voices.
The usual strategy with most scam PTC sites is to pay members in the initial period, but when money inflow from advertisers assumes significant proportions, the payments tend to stop.
After a while, such PTC sites vanish into thin air. As an owner of such scamming PTC sites, it’s not hard to see the potential income to be made through such tactics by investing only a minor amount.
Bottom Line
One thing is pretty clear, Neobux is not a site that scams people. However, being legit doesn’t mean the site is a good avenue to make extra money from.
If you want to make some decent money, join a few survey sites like Swagbucks and Vindale.
If you care for some honest advice, I’d say stay away from this time-waster of a site, and most other paid to click sites.
