Hits4Pay Review: Pros and Cons of this Paid to Click Site

Sometime ago, I decided to join Hits4Pay as I came across numerous positive reviews and opinions about this PTC (Paid To Click) site and wanted to check if the hype was indeed true.

So, if you’re contemplating joining this site, read the full review below before making a final call.

Description

Hits4Pay, basically, is a site that pays you for clicks (known as PTC sites). This is a type of internet advertisement revenue sharing where the site shares part of its revenues from internet ads with members. Some of the other well-known PTC sites include NeoBux and Clixsense.

Run by Multiple Stream Media, LLC, Hits4Pay has existed since 2001, which makes it among the oldest such money making programs.

The company behind H4P also operates (with great success) another PTC network, which goes by the name AdClickMedia.

By becoming a member, you earn money by viewing paid emails from advertisers.

A company like Hits4Pay earns money by bringing together advertisers and a surefire audience. It does so by paying its members for each and every email they read in addition to every ad they click.

BBB Rating

I searched the official BBB website to see if H4P was registered there, but couldn’t find anything. I will check back periodically and if that changes, I will update this review.

Sign-up Process

Upon completing the registration process, you need to wait till your application is manually approved. You get a notification once you’re accepted as a member in the site’s program.

Now, the site starts sending you emails on the ID you provided. These emails feature surveys concerning a variety of products that are supposed to be completed.

At times, all you need to do is click on the advertiser’s link in an email and you get paid for the same once the click gets successfully validated.

The number of paid emails you get every day varies greatly. If the site has a large database of advertisement campaigns at its disposal, you may even get more than 20 emails per day.

Otherwise, there is also the possibility of you not getting even one email if there is a scarcity of advertising campaigns.

Earning Potential

The amount of money members earn for every email is quite miniscule; it’s normally between .02-.05 cents.

Although, the exact figures are a subject of debate, most members claim they get around 2-3 emails every day. From this, one can make out that the rate of income is very low; less than $1/week.

This is also the reason why most people concentrate on earning via referrals when it comes to such get-paid-to-read businesses. For example, every time a person you recruited reads an email, you are paid .01 cents for the same. The strength of your income prospects greatly depends on how many people are you able to rope in.

But the difficulty in this system is that all your readers have to be active and keep reading emails. The commission you earn stops the moment they stop reading. I’ve personally experienced a very high rate of turnover, which means that one constantly needs to replenish his/her recruit count.

Payment System

You get paid once your account balance breaches the minimum threshold, which is $25. Payments are made on a monthly basis while the site usually pays you within a month’s first week itself.

The only payment method available is PayPal. There is no scope for wire transfers or checks.

Opinions (mine and other members’)

I’ve interacted with a number of folks actively associated with the site. I also read opinions about Hits4Pay on PTC Investigation (a trusted PTC related forum).

The results of these interactions where a mixed bag. While some had an opinion that this was a rewarding concept, others lamented how it’s a massive time waster.

Basically, it’s all about recruiting. The concept is good if you can rope in a steady stream of people as otherwise, it makes no sense to be paid 3 cents for reading a single email.

Pros:

• Good Management – The site was established in February 2001 and continues to function to this day.
• Paying PTC Site – The site pays members and that too on time, and there is no shortage of Hits4Pay payment proofs.
• Unlimited Affiliate Program – The site doesn’t impose any limits on the number of people you are allowed to refer. This allows you to create a strong network of referred members.
• Worldwide Service – Restrictions are absent totally. People from any part of the world can sign-up with the site.
• Sing-Up Bonus – For new registrations, the site offers a one-time amount of $5 as sign-up bonus.

Cons:

• High Cash Out Minimum – The minimum threshold for cash out is $25, which is quite high considering it’s a PTC site.
• Low Number of Ads, Geo-targeted Ads – The site’s ads are all geo-targeted. This means that unless you are from Western Europe or North America, you are allotted a less number of advertisements.

Bottom Line

Here is the thing, if you are looking to make any substantial amount of money, PTC sites, including Hits4Pay won’t cut it for you. Yes, it’s a legit site and not a scam trying to ripp you off. But, paid to Click websites are a waste of time in my opinion, unless you are happy with getting paid cents for clicks.

I would advise you join MySurvey and a few other legit survey sites instead where you can at least earn a few hundred dollars a month. The only one making that kind of money on Hits4Pay is the owner of the site himself.
