Mintvine Review: Reaching the $10 Cash Out Minimum the First Day?

Post updated on: January 6, 2016

Today’s review is about MineVine, a rather new paid survey site that not many people know about.

So, without a further ado, lets get started with a quick company background, then we will get to the nitty gritty of the site, membership, surveys and rewards, and whether or not it’s worth your time and effort.

Company Background

As far as the company’s history and background go, there is really not much info on their website. I did search on other sites like LinkedIn where companies may have profiles set up and I still couldn’t find much info.

The most I was able to gather was that this survey panel is operated by Branded Research, Inc., a rather famous marketing research firm and a member of the ESOMAR (The European Society for Opinion and Market Research).

The site was founded in 2012, it is a Privately Held business, and it has between 11 to 50 employees

Apart from helping you make money by answering surveys, the site also allows for earning money through poll participation, referrals, offers, and completing their in-house Mint Roll surveys.

BBB Rating and Reviews

If you are a regular here at SurveySatrap, you know that when reviewing paid survey sites, one of the first things I usually do to get an overall feel of the site and its legitimacy is to check with the Better Business Bureau.

So, I went to the bbb.org to see if MineVine had any rating yet, but I couldn’t find any rating or even a company profile, which doesn’t say much about the company since companies are free to join the BBB. So, if a company doesn’t have a profile there, it doesn’t mean it’s a scam.

 Mintvine contact infoGetting Started

Starting with Mint Vine is pretty simple. Just complete the sign-up form before confirming your registration via email to make your account active.

Also, just for the act of registering, the site rewards you 200 points (worth $2).

After logging in to your newly-created account, start filling out all visible profile surveys.

Once you complete all the profilers as well as certain other bonus surveys, your account is credited with 510 points (worth $5.10) instantly.

If some polls are visible to you, completing those would net an additional 5 points per poll.

So, after signing-up, filling the profile surveys and all available polls, you could very easily earn up to 700 points (worth $7) or even more.

Additional points can also be earned by filling offers, which are available in the dedicated ‘offers’ tab of the Mint Vine website.

Once you complete an offer or a survey, it’s marked as pending in your account. This is maintained for a period of 2 weeks before the points are transferred to your kitty.

Information as to when the actual transfer takes place is available for all to check in their respective accounts.

Mint Roll Surveys

Mint Roll is a new concept started by this website. Mint Roll surveys are formed around your opinions and behavior.

Upon completing every such survey, you earn 200 points (worth $2).

Also, you won’t need more than 7 minutes for completing each survey.

You can look for them in your account section as that is where they go after becoming available.

The MVP Referral Program

Another way to earn some extra points is to go the MVP referral route.

For every friend you refer to the site, you stand to get 15% of the total amount of points the said friend earns using offers and surveys.

Additionally, a bonus payment of 50 points is also given once your referral takes his/her first survey.

 mv-member-dashboardRewards & Cash Out

You must accumulate a minimum of 1000 points before redeeming them for a cash payment of $10 through PayPal.

For every 100 points accumulated, you get cash worth $1. So with 1000 points, one can request a cash out worth $10.

This money is sent to the PayPal account you provide and the best part is that just like with QuickRewards Network, the entire process usually takes less than 24 hours; that is seriously quick!

Update: I was notified by one of our readers, B. Chambers, about a new change. It seems like you now have to secure your number with a phone number to be able to cash out. The reason being that a lot of folks try to game the system by creating different accounts, so to stop that they are asking for phone confirmation. For most of you this shouldn’t be a problem.

Other MintVine Reviews

Below are some reviews of the site I found elsewhere on the internet:

Lisa D: Achieving the initial $10 landmark is rather easy thanks to the many profilers and polls the site provides to new users.

However, the process gets slower from then on as the site doesn’t have enough surveys and to make it worse, points are credited to your account a good two weeks after you take a survey.”

Bob Huff: Finally, after around two months, I managed to collect the required points for a $10 cash out. Better still, I got the cash through PayPal (MV offers this as the only reward option presently) inside two days.

Apart from the initial profilers, you might receive just about one survey per month that you can actually qualify for.

As for polls, there might be a couple of poll questions per week.

If you’re patient then this works as the site does intimate you via email when new surveys come up.

Amanda53w: I still haven’t made up my mind about this one. Although the crediting mechanism for points is rather strange, I had no problems with receiving my points while the payment process itself was quite fast.

The site is legit but I’ll prefer to concentrate on other panels and reserve this one for rainier days.

Should You Join?

I would personally term MintVine as promising and worth looking out for in the near future.

The site’s extra features are a refreshing change from what we have got used to with boring older panels.

The Mint Roll survey, polls and many extra offers are just some of the money earning methods with this site. And with a low initial threshold of just 1000 points for withdrawals, you can earn your first $10 in as less as two weeks.

Overall, I recommend MintVine wholeheartedly.
