Positioning itself as a mom friendly survey site like Swagbucks.com where anyone can earn free money by answering survey, Survey Princess, a site based out of the United States, has been making quite a few noises lately.
Finding legitimate surveys for money sites is hard with all the scams around, which is why I review every site that claims to be a real paying survey site. So, I had to give Survey Princess a go to see if it holds up to its claims, and here is the result of my test.
About the Company
There is really not much information about the company behind the site. the only thing I could find is that a company named LeaderDirect is behind the site.

BBB Rating
If you have been a regular reader of SurveySatrap, I am sure by now you know that one of the first things I check when it comes to legitimacy of a survey site is the Better Business Bureau’s site. I did so in this case as well, but it seems like SP does not have a profile with the BBB, and so it’s not even rated by the Better Business Bureau.
I will keep an eye and if that changes, I will update this post with correct info.
My Review
Survey Princess is fairly new to the market of paid survey panels. The site’s registration process itself took close to 15 minutes of my time. Furthermore, after I entered all the personal information required by the site, I was presented with offers from 5 more sites to sign-up with them on the very same page.
The ordeal continued as I was asked to browse through around 20 pages affirming if I had any interest in the displayed offers. I chose to skip through most offers, which varied from gift cards to contact lenses to even other paid surveys.

Later, I was presented with another set of 20 pages where I needed to repeat the previous cycle and express my interest in terms of yes or no.
In case even a single offer doesn’t interest you and you chose to click the submit button, the site requires you to revert and click on yes for a single offer at the very least.
Next up, I reached what can be called among the last few pages. This page informed me that I would need to sign-up with another site and only then would I be granted membership of Survey Princess.
So, I selected a website and was then directed towards a different survey, which again asked me to go through reams of pages containing one offer after the other asking to sign-up.
When I finally completed the entire process after close to 20 minutes of starting, I gained access to the member’s area, which was nothing more than a list containing names of paid survey sites.
In other words, Survey Princess doesn’t pay you for takings surveys. All it does is provide you with names of sites that actually do.
So, what is Survey Princess?
Survey Princess cannot possibly be a genuine paid survey website. On first look, it comes across as more of a site that harvests emails, almost like SurveyScout.
I say this because of the site’s Privacy Policy. From their front page, it can be seen that the site requires you to part with vital personal info like first and last names, date of birth, address, gender, email ID and telephone number in order to register with it.
One can only wonder as to why the site needs all this information especially when the registration is free. The below part lifted off the site’s Privacy Policy pretty much sums up everything:
The Way We Use Information
…Any information that you submit at the Site remains your property. However, by submitting that information to us, you grant to us the right: (1) to share your information with third party individuals and entities that we employ directly, or as contractors or agents at our direction; (2)
to share your information with third party advertisers and marketers; (3) to use your information for purposes of administering our business activities, including the operation of the Program; (4) to use your information for purposes of providing customer service, such as support; and (5) to use your information in order to send you information about products and/or services that we, and/or our third party advertisers and marketers, think may be of interest to you….
Should You Join?
Absolutely not!
As of now, it’s really not about what Survey Princess is out to accomplish. But if you want your email inbox to be safe from being flooded with spam, I suggest you to keep your distance from this site; regardless of how tempting she may sound with her offers.
In case you are on the lookout for real and genuine paid survey websites to earn money from, I would suggest you go through my free lists of legit paid survey sites.
